Micayla Spiros, M.Sc.

Welcome

My name is Micayla Spiros and am a PhD student in biological anthropology at Michigan State University. I study skeletal biology, forensic anthropology, osteology variation, and biocultural theory. My doctoral dissertation focuses on the biocultural dynamics of postcranial skeletal variation with a focus on ontogeny, socioeconomic status, and population history. Currently, my research interests include exploring the causative forces of human variation from a biocultural perspective, decision making and cognitive bias in forensic anthropology, and digital pedagogy.
